The Hunt for Employment

I'm starting this blog to follow my ups and downs of finding a job in the Phoenix AZ market. My field of profession is construction management. I'm not a fancy writer nor person of eloquent words. (That last line was pretty good wasn't it.) Anyways back to the blog. Here's a little of my back round. I have been in construction management for 10 years now and just about all of that time has been in multifamily (luxury condos & apartments). I have only worked for two companies during that 10 years. I cut my teeth in Las Vegas building luxury condos and wanted to move my then small family to the phoenix area. I went to work for one of the more prominent apartment builders in Phoenix. Where I was able to complete a few great projects for them with pride, over a 3 year time period, Since they were no longer building any more projects I transitioned to the maintenance side of the company to stay employed. For the last year and a half I was a maintenance supervisor for them at a community in Queen Creek. I was then laid off the beginning of march form that positions. So here starts my journey.
